My Snail Trap

As I was walking through the forest

As I was walking through the forest I saw a birdie in the tree I climbed up the tree to the birdie. As I was climbing the tree I fall down the tree. The birdie flew away. I had another look and I found a gecko on a log. I walked to the gecko and it ran around the log to its hidey hole in the forest. It was gone then I fell in the creek with the eels.Suddenly I heard a noise it was my friend Sparky. He dived into the creek dragged me out.

100 word challenge-Mr Fantastic Fox

Mr Fantastic Fox is a fox.He lives in a hole in the Waikato countryside.With Mrs Fox and their 40 kids.Mr Fantastic Fox is hardworking but he does get into mischief.He loves to eat chicken.Everynight he tries to steal chicken from Judy’s Chicken Farm. Every night Judy guards the chicken coop with her shotgun but she is not a good shot.One night he burrowed into the dirt bike shop. He grabbed a bike kicked the starter and flew down the burrow.He rides all the way home and Mrs Fantastic Fox is not happy.She makes him take the bike back and on the way he slips and crashes into a pole.Luckily he was not hurt but now he is wanted by the police.

Fluffy Molly

Fluffy Molly the cow was eating some grass when suddenly she heard a huge noise. She went around to the farmer’s house to have a look for the farmer. When she got there she saw nothing, there was no sign of the farmer at all. Then she thought, where is the farmer? This is starting to get scary! She thought that he might have hurt himself in the barn so she went to have a look. All she could see were hay bales and mice. Next, she went to look a the milking shed but he was not there. Instead, she saw a stranger.

I sat at Mt Smart Stadium. My skin tingled with excitement. It was the first time I had watched a Warriors game. Suddenly Sean Johnson burst from the scrum and sprinted towards the try line.The crowd roared with excitement and jumped to their feet. I had an extreme feeling.of excitement.Sean divided across the try line with the ball in his hands.The crowd erupted cheering and yelling. The Warriors had won.

You think ?The Government needs to do more to help the homeless.

The Government are giving people $5,000 too move out of Auckland but they haue family and a job in Auckland.

House are too expensive so the government need to find a  way to make them cheaper.

I have the answers. The first thing the government needs to do is lower the rent prices. We need to build way more houses that are cheaper, so that there is not much competition. This will give more jobs for people like builders and plumbers.

The government needs to help the homeless which have addictions to drugs and alcohol.

NZ Steel

NZ Steel should not close down because it would not be good for New Zealand.

If  NZ Steel shut down people will lose jobs. They will then go onto the unemployment benefit. They might become homeless. A lot of families will suffer. The children in these families will not sleep very well if they are homeless so they won’t do very well at school. They will get sick because they are sleeping in cold and crowded spaces.

It’s best to have NZ  made  because the money for the steel and other things stays in NZ. The money goes towards the NZ economy and brings jobs and money too NZ.

If  NZ  steel  shuts down all the  machinery will go to waste. Trespassers could go into the buildings and get injured. All The people in Waiuku would lose money because less people work in the area. Waiuku would become a poor and jobless area.

New Zealand would lose a lot of money because people would buy imported steel from China. The steel from China might not be good quality.   It

is not good for the New Zealand economy if we lose all that money.

I think NZ Steel should not close down.    

Nitro Circus

Boom! Crash! Bang! The Nitro Circus is in town with all your favourite riders .

The smell of exhaust fumes filled my lungs.My stomach churned with nerves as I rode to the mega ramp and got ready for the jump of my life. I revved my bike and took off to the ramp at 250 km hour. My nerves disappeared as I flew off the ramp and did a triple backflip. When you go over the jump there is a spark of excitement.

Everyone cheered as I landed the jump.

I jumped off my bike wrenched off my helmet and waved to the crowd  and gave them the thumbs up.  

The Train Ride

I looked over and saw more people balancing on the trains roof than you would think.People were trying to squeeze inside the train.People having their everyday ride on the train to work. People hanging off the train like clothes on the clothes line. People pushing and shoving to get their own space people getting whacked

and knocked off the roof of the train. Everyone crushed and feeling hot and sweaty. People covered in grit in and dust. Helpless things on the cow catchers.

The wheels of the train rattled along the rusty tracks in the outback.

The evil train driver blew the train whistle. The passengers thought it was to scare off Kangaroos but it was really to make people disappear.

Slowly people realised that the train was getting empty  they started to panic.

Slowly but surely the train emptied ‘ The only  person left was the evil train driver. He blew the train whistle...

Oh gosh! Where is Waiheke Island? Tears ran down his face like rain.   I wish this statue could talk and then I would know where to go. All of a sudden the statue twitched. Then a voice said “Can I help you?’’ My mouth fell open in shock because it was the statue talking. The statue bent over and  started to turn the  pages of the map book. I jumped up and ran towards the door away from the statue in fear...

uncle Raymond

WALT: Share personally meaningful thoughts

Uncle Raymond  lives on his own farm with Aunty Karen. He is always positive. He drives a concrete truck and gives me the job dockets. He collects metal to recycle, and he lets me climb into the barrel of the concrete truck . I play with my cars in the old concrete. Uncle Raymond is good at listening to me.We built a birdhouse together. He’s my favourite uncle.  

    

Uncle Raymond doesn’t like going to Auckland too much because he says the traffic is too busy in town but he doesn’t mind driving around Mt Albert which is great because I love it when he comes to our house.

One day when I was staying at their house Aunty Georgie and I were driving to the hunting shop and we saw Uncle Raymond in his concrete truck. Then when we came home he appeared at the house to drop off some firewood.

Uncle Raymond and Aunty Karen have three children. Two are grown up and married but the youngest one Bailey is 12 years old. She is nice to me and sometimes plays with me.

I am very lucky to have a fantastic family.
